This baord is going live in a few days so I'll beat C-BU to the FALKUN...PAWNSH. : )

I've made it to Floor 11 in Etrian Odyssey after finally getting boss on floor 10, and unlocked Ronin (samurai) class. I decided to use a feature to drop character level by 10 (its strangely called "rest"), but on the upside, you get to reallocate every skill point you've got. Some of my old skill choices weren't that hot. I created a moe Ronin girl, and there was a quest to stay on Floor 8 for 5 ingame days, so I used the extremely long amount of time that you had to be down there to basicly re-level 4 of the 5 people I deleveled and leveled up my newfound katana machine until the 5 days passed. I'm now leveling up a kind of "B-team" of classes I haven't been usin, just I case I need them. I've also found some nifty secret passages and noted them on my meaty maps.

What? We're really going live in a few days? What's the exact date?

Well, in several days I hope to have beaten the Dragon Warrior 1 portion of Dragon Warrior 3...if that even makes any sense at all...

I wonder if there will be any more or if it's truly the end of the game? Strange because this part seems completely unrelated to the main quest. It's like a bonus RPG within an RPG. I can't think of any other RPG that's done something like this with the exception of maybe that neverending cave in Lufia 2.

i wanna unofficially rename it as "zero". and have a bourbon, scotch and one... vodka redbull, then the bill.

in other news, i'm considering buying deus ex which is selling for 10 bucks in that same book store i bought a taiwanese game for 7 bucks, even though i'm gonna be broke soon. oh crap, more dirt cheap older games! thinking of getting black & white too, but i read it gets boring after the novelty value wears off. my graphics card may not be able to support neverwinter nights, but that games cost like 20 bucks.. but might be worth the money since i should never run of of quests to do 'cause that's just what warriors of light... i mean adventurers a do do.

feel like replaying Ultima 7 just to do all the bad/fun things i read on a certain webpage, but i think i already tried half of them. e.g.killing the babies and putting them on the dinner table, with sherry the mouse as garnishing.

M.U.S.H.A. is my new age retro favourite shooter game now. i feel like trashing elemental master.

and i almost completed chitose's route in GA:EL, but my PC hanged probably because of some sound card problem, after i got my flagship blown up the 2nd time. i guess i should keep it away from the frontline, since the deadly bombship(which i have to destroy to complete the mission) keeps aiming straight for it. or maybe i should take out the equally deadly carriers and that crabby ship before i take down the main target.

I sort of beat Rocket: Robot on Wheels. I beat Jojo, but I'm still missing some tickets. The "ending" you get for beating Jojo without all the tickets is the doctor moping about how they'll clean up the park in time for it to open, and how there's still some tickets left. I think I've got twelve tickets left, and I know how to get two of them.

I got what I'm hoping is the most annoying ticket in the game. It's in the lava version of the pyramid level, and you have to use the glider to fly up three platforms suspended in the air, then on the top one you have to angle yourself pointed towards a yellow and black beam with some balls you can grapple, gas it, glide towards the beam, eject from the glider at the right time and catch the ball, then you have to swing up a row of balls to the ticket on a platform the beam leads to, and some of those balls are so far apart there's no room for error. If you screw up, you land in some lava, and have to do it all over again, and the glider thing has some pretty sloppy controls.

I often have to go to GameFAQs for the 200 Token tickets. While in Super Mario 64 there were the 100 coin stars, there were more than 100 coins in each world. In Rocket, there are exactly 200 tokens in each world, so you have to find all the tokens.

Collect-a-thons suck. Although there was that one stage in Super Mario 64 (the haunted house, I think) that I got to wondering how many total coins it was possible to get there since I frequently got over 100 without even trying. I think my last record was over 200 coins if that was possible.

Dragon Warrior 3 is fucking hard but I'm liking it a lot. I wonder if I should change classes again as it's getting much harder now than it was even before. Metal Babbles yield good experience but the gold sucks and I can't afford the best equipment.

Journey to Silius was an exhausting game. It's really not that hard once you learn it, but the levels are so damn long and the play control is a tad floaty. I was almost glad the final boss was easy.

The soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in a long time. Too bad there aren't more songs.
